I could tell Ms. Bohnet cared about my case and worked hard for me. I also observed her interact in court with a wide variety of people of different races, backgrounds, and ages-- it was obvious she respected each of them equally and treated them fair and professional. It's very easy to like and to ...trust Ms. Bohnet because she knows how to explain things, is straightforward and no-nonsense. She kept good contact with me, listened to my concerns, gave me good advice, and worked out a really good deal with the prosecutor. I would absolutely trust her with another case of mine and recommend her highly to other people of all ages, races, and situations.

She was assigned to me as my Public Defender. I'll make this quick. By telephone she was rude and by the time court came up She had already had a clear disdain for my existence. She didn't shake my hand nor introduced herself to me. When asking her a question she exhibited very clearly through body ...language (yelling,rolling eyes/ neck, walking away, avoiding eye contact, crossing arms, tone of voice) she didn't like me. I have never met her a day in my life. Frankly I was embarrassed for Benton County. To have hired an individual who should be working for the people but working against them is counter productive to what the Office of Public Defense says they represent.
