Mr. Davidson was very knowledgeable he wanted all the information from what happened in our case down to the last detail he then went over the details with us so we made sure that what happened nothing was missed. He then explained to us how it would go in court because I never had been in trouble wh...en I left his office I felt confident going to court with Mr. Davidson on my case, when it was the court date Mr. Davidson got there early & went over a briefing on what we needed to do, when we were called he went into detail & was my voice in our case to WIN the case. If my case had not ben postponed so many times I would not have been found innocent . he admitted to me that he is only a general attorney and if not for advise from a colleague at the last minute I would have been found guilty. Mr Davidson is also very verbally abusive towards my self and another kn...own client. I would recommend doing some research before choosing Mr Davidson. I Retained Michael Davidson for a no contact order that was put on me by an ex girlfriend in an attempt to gain custody of our child in August of 2017. Mr. Davidson & I had our initial meeting where I explained my situation, I payed my retainer then didn't hear anything from him until court. I submit...ted all the evidence i could think of to submit on my own cause Mr. Davidson didn't tell me what I needed to do. My court day came & that is when Mr. Davidson though it appropriate to start asking me all the questions about my case with my Ex sitting right behind us. This was clearly the first time he had read my Declaration & looked over my evidence, he took no time to prepare for my case. Mr. Davidson asked me what I wanted to do, i told him I only wanted to keep my order if my Ex was keeping hers. So when we got called to the stand the judge asked who wanted to go first & Mr. Davidson said "we will, my client wants to drop this order." WHAT!! No that's not what I wanted & I had just told him that!! The Judge asked my Ex if she had been served a copy of my deceleration & evidence, she said no. The judge noticed that there wasn't a notice of service filed by Mr. Davidson! He didn't even bother to mail anything to my Ex. With absolutely to evidence my Ex was able to get an order put on md for a full year & Mr. Davidson did nothing to argue for less time or anything! He just took it. Then after court I noticed MY ADDRESS was on the year long no contacted order as being my Ex's, I immediately called Mr. Davidson to tell him about the error, he told me I have nothing to worry about that it was a mistake made by the judge. He told me to stay in my home & that my Ex had no right to it and that he would get it fixed. I called Mr. Davidson the next day & he proceeded to tell me he was working on the mistake & that it would be resolved, he again told me to stay in my house. The following three days i tried getting ahold of Mr. Davidson with no success. I was arrested that Sunday for being in my home because Mr. Davidson didn't do ANYTHING to get my address off of the order. Even the Police Officer said my attorney screwed me over! It wasn't until I was let out of jail the next day that I learned Mr. Davidson had gone out of the country & didn't do anything to fix my situation! Me & my three kids were in a hotel for 18 days because of Mr. Davidson! Once Mr. Davidson returned from his vacation & I got to speak to him he admitted he screwed up & told me he would personally handle my new charges of no contact order violation for being in my own home. That was a lie! After that I didn't hear from him & he made anoher attorney in his office handle my case. He is a worthless attorney! You are better off representing yourself!
