Jodi was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She made great recommendations of things we could add or remove that didn’t think of while drafting our OAA. She was extremely reachable and flexible to meet with. She guided us through what we could expect during our adoption hearing and even took... some family photos.

Jodi was great with our adoption case. This was our first adoption and she was amazing at explaining the process and made sure we understood and felt completely comfortable. It was a great experience. As foster to adopt foster parents we will be using her again no doubt, if we are lucky enough to be ...able to adopt another kiddo. Thanks Jodi for all of your work. My husband and I came to Jodi for help with our step parent adoption. We were kind of scared because the courts gave her birth father rights to her with no paternity test or anything like that done and they put into place a parenting plan I'd made when she was 16 weeks old. Jodi and her team are awes...ome! She put our minds at ease and answered all questions. She kept us up to date with every step of the process and worked fast and effeciently to get our adoption done. October 19th, 2015 my husband legally became our daughter's daddy and we couldn't be happier or thank Jodi enough!!

I contacted Mark Iverson's office to retain an adoption attorney, and we were assigned to Jodi. I had heard many positives, and she did a great job explaining the process to me during our initial contact. She sent out the fee letter in a timely manner, and we were on our way. In early March I sent an... email to update her on where we were at in the process and asked if she could coordinate some special requests for our finalization. We had a few delays on our end, and I panicked a bit that we wouldn't be able to finalize on the day we had planned. Jodi was reassuring, and because she had already coordinated our requests things moved forward for us quickly and on time. We met with her about a week before finalization to sign the paperwork. She did a great job explaining what we were signing and how court would work. She gave us enough privacy to review the documents together, while still checking in with us to make sure we didn't have any questions. Before leaving she asked if we had pictures of the children, and I proudly showed her photos. It's those little things that really mean a lot to a family. She was so wonderful on adoption day too. She had asked if it would be ok to ask the kids some questions, and they warmed up to her quickly. I have some cute photos of them chatting with her. She made us all feel very comfortable, and she even took pictures to share with us! I just cannot say enough good things about her. She eliminated any stress I had about the legal piece, and I would definitely choose Jodi again if our family adopted more children.

We really enjoyed working with Jodi through our first adoption and we'll be using her again for our upcoming second adoption. She is thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, and handles herself well in court. If there was something that we didn't understand she had the answers and explained everything. ...She walked us through the entire process and has been there through everything, every step of the way over the last 6 months. We couldn't be happier that she performed our adoption and will definitely will be using her again for our next adoption. There were no surprises and delivered on everything that we expected.
