Christen Michael Fairborn

Dr. Fairborn is both a patent attorney and an eye doctor.  He earned his doctorate from one of the world's leading universities - the University of California, Berkeley in 1989. He also earned a bachelors degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a second bachelors degree from the California State University where he graduated with highest honors. With a dedication to life-long learning Dr. Fairborn later attended Texas Tech University as a Regents Scholar where he earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree with honors in 2000.

Dr. Fairborn is a member of the Center for Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) at the University of Washington.  He has also been a member of the American Intellecutal Propertery Law Association (AIPLA).  In addition he is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and is registered to practice as an attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

As licensed patent attorney Dr. Fairborn has worked with small inventors, large corporations, and universities, helping them to protect their intellectual property and bring new technologies to market.
