My son was wrongfully arrested and then convicted, with obviously proof he was innocent, and all renee did was help the da! She was not on my son's side at all, acted like he was nothing but a pain in the a**. She is a HORRIBLE public defender, and if you want someone who truly cares about their clie...nts you'll hire ANYONE but her! I was stunned at how she treated my son and me with contempt, and Renee actually HELPED the da! I couldn't believe it; my son is a good kid, still is, and isn't a troublemaker. He deserved a proper defense, especially since he really was innocent! DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN IF YOU WANT A TRUE DEFENSE!!!

I was assigned Rene Cochran as my public defender. She did not do a good job for me. She appeared tired and frustrated with me. She shouted at me. I could not understand what she wanted me to do. Her explanations were unclear and wandering. I certainly cannot recommend her to others. There is much mo...re I am not saying due to the constraints of this review system.
