Priscilla Ann Vaagen

Priscilla A. Vaagen was the attorney for the other party in a child custody case. She ghosted my attorney every time we had issues. It was ordered through the court that any time I wanted a UA from my ex all I had to do was request it. Priscilla never made sure they were completed. She would not send... the answers to my Motions causing me to get 6 continuances because she either did not show up for the hearings or she was not prepared. That cost me double money since I still had to pay for my attorney. Then she decided she no longer would represent my ex so we are on hold waiting for her to get another attorney. We have been in the court with this case for 18 months and it is still not resolved due to her incompetence. Run ... don't walk away from this attorney.

So far so good. Ms. Vaagen is very knowledgeable and is all about protecting my interests; I have yet to have any problems with her. She has given lots of great advice to me also in this tuff time. I trust that she is 100% on my side to protect my interests. She thinks outside of the box to come up ...with the best plan possible for the next matter at hand. I am confident that with Ms. Vaagen fighting for me I will come out on top. She was recommended to me by an ex brother-in-law who came out on top with everything he wanted. I read the other reviews after already hiring her and was a little worried, but so far I have had no problem and I have seen how my ex brother-in-law came out and my bill is in good order. Sometimes the response time is a little longer then I like when I leave a voicemail but my questions are always answered and everything is always taken care of and I always get a call back that day or the next (can’t call back when she is in court and with other clients) Her assistant is also knowledgeable and gives great advice both Ms. Vaagen and her assistant have been nothing but a help so far.

She seemed nice enough at first, however, after drawing out the case needlessly for months and months. She overcharged me every chance she could get. Also, I needed help with another separate case and she actually Cut and Copied the names over to a document she had already created and charged me FULL...Y for doing all of the work. When she sent the document to the oppositions Lawyer, he had to correct the document she or her assistant created so the court would even accept it!!! She charges for phone calls and she also charges you if you talk to her assistant. Her assistant never calls back nor informs you as to the status of your case. The assistant seems to be totally inept as to anything having to do with law or even the basics of customer service or professionalism. You are better off trying to fight your case alone!!!

To much to list but I would not recommend. She is very nice at first then she for gets about you. Did not tell me that I had a court date my husband showed up and made me look bad like I did not care about my daughter. Seemed to help the other side out instead of fighting for me. I would have to ...call everyday for 4 to 5 days before I would hear anything there seemed to always be an excuse why I was not contacted.
