Biography
My practice covers all aspects of family, matrimonial, divorce and paternity cases, including custody, property & debt, spousal and child support, third party /grandparent/partner rights, and modifications of all kinds. Thirty-four years of courtroom and negotiation experience, including mediation, with two thousand or more court appearances in family cases, and many appeals. I have been chairman of two different states' bar association family law sections for lawyers (Washington and Montana), have been a member of several local and statewide committees to improve court practices and procedures, and have served as a court commissioner pro tem for a three year term in Spokane. I serve as an editor of two Washington treatises on Family Law, and am author of one of these.
I place special emphasis on personal attention to each client and the case. No two cases are exactly the same, and each needs careful attention to the particular facts so that my legal experience can be applied with maximun effect.
My hobbies include flyfishing, mountain hiking, and guitar.
