mediator? really?

Wow! That's sums up my shock of how unprofessional this attourney is. I had a scheduled time for mediation with her and my ex-wife. I arrived at her office and couldn't find it first of all. I entered the building and her name wasn't on the list of offices in the building. That was just to get starte...d. I figure that mediators separate the parties involved in the process. Guess not. I had to sit I the same room at the same table with my ex, the whole time arguing with her when it was my turn to talk. I had to just stop talking and look at Patricia Morgan to see what she was going to do and how long she would allow it to continue. I felt my time was wasted because of this. We were only scheduled for two hours which should have been more than enough time to get to the bottom of our matter. I honestly thought we wouldve been done in less than one hour. But because of what I said before about being interrupted it took the full allotted time. In the end we still didn't come up with anything new. We were still stuck in the same place we had started. I think it wouldve helped had Patricia started with having a copy of our file to understand the situation a little better. Instead I had to give her a copy of the parenting plan since I was the only one who came prepared. So that took even more time. All was said and done and like all mediators I've seen or heard about payment was due. I pulled out my credit card to pay for services. And she then informed me she did not take cards. Really!? She called me two days prior and gave me the time, address and her rate. But she didn't not mention that it would only be cash or check. Kind of important if you ask me. I had to call her back the next day because she did t even address who was going to be responsible for writing up what we did agree on. She then said we never discussed that... I said yeah I know that's why I am calling.... it was going to be an additional charge is all I got and she hung up on me. Very unprofessional! And for as inexspensive as she was I wouldn't recomend her to anyone. Come up with a little more cash and spend it on someone worth your time and money.
