Prior to my fiance coming to the US, I did a lot of research and came across John Wheaton as a professional in the field of Immigration Law. I knew upon conversing with him the first day that he would be the best choice we could make in achieving our ultimate immigration goals. I hired John to prepare my TN application. As an attorney myself, I appreciated John's thoroughness and efficiency in handling my case. John was also very responsive in his communications with me, and I appreciated his honesty when he informed me of some of the worst case scenarios and the steps I ...would need to take should I encounter them. John has been a wonderful lawyer through out our entire Fiancé visa to adjustment of status process. Availability: He was regularly available when we had questions. Always clear with his explanations and answers. He never made us feel rushed like he had something to do. It always felt like we had ...his undivided attention. Cost: John was very flexible with us about funding his services. At the time I had sufficient funds to cover half of his services but was still stuck waiting for a tax refund from work abroad that was a bit delayed. John gave me the option to have a payment plan each month while awaiting for my refund to complete. This allowed us to still move forward with the process without wasting time. Knowledge: He is incredibly knowledgable. With our case we had a bit of tricky hiccup with a police reprimand from when my partner was a teenager. No arrest or anything like that but a warning. John explained the laws and eased our minds on the subject. He took time to attach a letter with our application referencing the warning and highlighting how in our specific situation this should not be considered a sign of bad character due to it being only a warning when my partner was a minor. He also gave this to my fiancé to carry with her at the interview. Which helped with the interview process. Overall if you are looking for a personable and professional lawyer. Then John should definitely be at the top of your list.

I strongly recommend Mr. Wheaton's professional services. I had a fairly simple case but Mr. Wheaton still gave me his undivided attention. He's great explaining the whole process in a simplified manner. Mr. Wheaton was always available to respond my inquires regarding my case. He kept me informe...d of every application's status change. He saw that I was nervous for the immigration interview, so he offered to attend it with me despite the heavy traffic and early timing (8:30AM).
