I was the victim of a t-bone accident beginning of 2016, caused major injury to my back, requiring surgery, and ultimately caused me to be disabled. This lawyer took my case, had me sign paperwork that he would be the only lawyer to represent me. Other driver only had a 25k policy, as I mistakenly ...did as well. After we found that out, I didn't hear from him months at a time. He rarely responded to my emails mainly called. Our last conversation was probably a year ago, again after telling me that it should be wrapped up any day now. And then I try to email him, email is no longer working. I do a search on the web for him, and find this site, and learn that he has been suspended several times in the past, and now apparently has been disciplined in 2019?! I'm sure this isn't a unique outcome and has happened to others throughout time since lawyers came into being. Words of advice... overinsure yourself. One accident can ruin your life, especially if you don't have enough insurance to plan for underinsured motorists.
