Biography
Although practicing in one of the most conservative areas of the state, Terry Abeyta has earned recognition as one of the top plaintiff's personal injury attorneys in Washington. He recovered $6.9 million on a bleacher fall case (the largest settlement in the history of Yakima County), $6.25 million on a car-truck crash (the largest settlement in the history of Franklin County), $4.1 million on a car-truck collision (the largest settlement in the history of Kittitas County), $3.5 million on a recreational use immunity case, and the largest recovery on an uninsured motorist case in Yakima County history. Abeyta also obtained the largest jury verdict on a cervical soft-tissue case in the history of Yakima County, and has won the highest settlements in the history of Grant and Klickitat Counties.
Abeyta was the first plaintiff's attorney from Eastern Washington chosen for The Best Lawyers in America, the first in Central Washington named to the Super Lawyers list, has been repeatedly named to the Top 100 Super Lawyers list, Top 40 Plaintiffs' Super Lawyers list, Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers in America, Damages Attorney Round Table, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has served in many leadership positions for Washington State Association for Justice (formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association).

I had hired a lawyer from Oregon who basically settled our claim without my knowledge and stole our money. Terry was so helpful in taking over the case and getting us our money.
