Hire a lawyer. Only talk to your lawyer about the case. Depending on the circumstances, history, and jurisdiction, the NCO can probably get removed...

It just means your case was set on a court calendar for a hearing. You should talk to a lawyer if you haven't already, assault 3 is a felony.
