Calm, collected and successful

What is unique about Ray is he stays calm and focused despite the challenges. I hired him to apply for my green card and he made the entire process look like a cake walk. My case wasn’t easy due to unavailability of some documents but Ray remained focused on the issue and was able to come up with a s...olution in no time. As we know, immigration related matters can be nerve-wracking; your whole life depends on it. Major life decisions are put on hold due to uncertainties around immigration status. Ray understands this more than anyone and ensures the process is not overwhelming. He is very knowledgeable and is ahead of the curve in terms of letting you know what’s coming and how to prepare for it. Additionally, Ray is very down-to-earth and will not confuse you with legalese and all the technicalities. I felt very comfortable throughout the process and knew from the very beginning that he has my best interest in mind. He is very prompt with his responses, always makes time for you and will never cut corners. In summary, if you are looking for a hassle-free process and a good, kind gentleman to help you, Ray is your guy.

Excellent

Ray did an outstanding job guiding my fiancée and I throughout the K-1 Visa process. He's an excellent listener, very responsive, and really knows the process. I highly recommend him for immigration assistance and service.

The Best Immigration Ally You Could Ask For!!!

What can we say about this man? Hire him. If you are looking for someone who is not only highly experienced in immigration law and process, but is also supportive of his clients every step of the way, then this is your guy! From the beginning, Ray has been such an incredible ally for us. His fle...xible hours; calm, confident, and sometimes humorous demeanor; and dedication to his clients allowed us to feel comfortable, secure, and excited about the journey! He is so informative and organized and kept us up to date on everything we needed to do and answered every question we had with wisdom, clarity, and confidence. We cannot thank him enough for making this process as easy and simple as possible. His organization, experience, and desire to see his clients succeed allowed for a very timely turnaround which was as stress-free as it could have been! In less than 3 months from the filing date, we got the green card in the mail! Seriously. You want this man as part of your team :)

Review for Ray Alexander through CR1 process

The service provided to myself and my wife by Ray was fantastic. Ray was pin point accurate on all his advice throughout the entire CR1 visa process and always maintained incredible contact with us when required and never without delay. Ray, a BIG thank you for supporting us!

The best! (I-751 Petition)

Having hired Ray previously to be my Green Card immigration lawyer (see my review Feb 14th 2016), I was in absolutely no doubt that I would rehire him to help process its renewal - the first card expires after 2 years - and in my case the application also included the removal of conditions on residen...ce (I-751). As with my first experience with Ray, he remains the consummate professional and despite there being a delay with the processing, whereby a 6 month extension was issued by USCIS, he was always extremely helpful and reassuring at every stage of the process until it was complete; which in my case was just this past week. I really can't recommend Ray highly enough to anyone looking for representation with regards to Green Card immigration. There's a lot of detailed information gathering and waiting for each stage of the process to conclude and one couldn't ask for a better person to have in your corner to navigate it all through smoothly. Always pleasant to deal with, always calm, collected, helpful and reassuring. A decent, considerate lawyer who made the legal journey to permanent residence as comfortable as one could hope for.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
