Do not hire!!!! Ivan was horribly incompetent. He failed to file simple docs to validate income in the right court case so the court never saw them. He never told me. He failed to argue on my behalf regarding my income so ex got 66% vs anywhere near 50%. Ivan was also fined for opposing counsel’...s court costs. The law firm did forgive $1500 in fees and gave me a check for $1k for his incompetence (Lawyers for Men). He still cost me thousands!!!!

Paid him 500 all he did was file the initial divorce paper which took him a few minutes. Never could get a hold of him after that. Had to hire a new attorney before I got screwed in court. Now he still says I owe $700 . He stole $5000 and says I owe more but never did anything for me. I’ve asked the... office to send me documents showing what they did that cost $ 5700 and I can’t get a response. I’m filing complaints on him with the state. This guy is scamming people at a vulnerable time in their life. Don’t hire him.

First meeting was pretty OK. Would not give direct answers about costs. After a week he had filled out the divorce documents and I had reviewed and corrected the mistakes…for the most part. Small stuff was ignored. Then he has me meet him at the courthouse in the middle of the day. Cost me a full day...s wages and what for ,,,,,, he had me pay for the filing fees and for the server. He already had a $7000 retainer so I asked why he didn’t pay for the filings with that??? His reply was That is not what the retainer is for. Specifically called out in section 2 of the agreement listed this use. And why is the lawyer at the courthouse filing the papers? That is a job for his secretary. Different billing…he does all the work and charges lawyer rates and none at the secretarial rate$100 less. In less than one month he resigned. My opinion…he’s a crook…. Buyer beware

I Hired mr. Culbertson’s to do documents for my divorce case I paid him up front and didn’t hear from him for over 4 months He didn’t do the services he was paid for and didn’t respond to me until I contacted there offices in Olympia to help me get into contact with him. I wouldn’t recommend anyone u...se this attorney ! I’m still trying to get my money refunded.
