Biography
"Doing the right thing" to help people in need has been the driving force for me. I have over 30 years of experience as a criminal prosecutor handing cases from $1,000,000 elder abuse cases and frauds to aggravated murder including championing cases no one else would, because it was - the right thing.
I was the founding chair and repeatedly returned to chair the Vulnerable Adult Task Force. Working together with Adult Protective Services, law enforcement, social service agencies and citizen volunteers we supported seniors, investigated the abuse of seniors and successfully prosecuted their abusers. This has been a rewarding area as so many seniors and people in need lack the voice necessary to stand for their rights.
As a prosecutor, I worked closely with law enforcement, corrections officers, federal agents and the many other men and women protecting our community. Recognizing they dedicate their lives to helping others, I try to help them. Officers are always welcome for assistance for their legal issues, labor issues and other advice. I am on the Legal Defense Funds Panels and accept referrals from the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) and PORAC (Peace Officers Research Association of California).
I am admitted to the Washington and federal bars.

Great Attorney
Jim is a very knowledgeable and personable man. I don’t want to get into the specifics of my case, but he did everything that I asked and needed for him to do. I have since referred a coworker to Jim, and I will continue to do so as long as he practices law.
