A masterpiece in his field

I could not have imagined a better experience. I was in a position where my EX thought he could bully me by going to court and claiming absurd things in hope that I will succumb to his nonsense demands. Knowing that I am not good at the law thing and I definitely know I don't know how to represent m...yself, I sought for help. I contacted an attorney who was overloaded with clients and therefore could not take my case. She then referred me to Corey Law Group. I, as God's grace could go got Scott Roberts from the firm to represent me. I was given the opportunity through initial consult to explain my case and my expectations. Mr. Roberts explained what he thought about my case without any guarantees. I decided I wanted to continue with him handling the case. The miracle had just began. Mr. Roberts has a very calm demeanor and a good listener. A very attentive person he is and very, very detailed. After looking through the summons from my EX, he presented me with a proposal with respect to what my expectations were. Eventually, we attended court on several occasions. From the first day in court, through the last day, he represented a seasoned lawyer. I thought I understood the proposal he had presented me but I only understood it as a novice. When he dissected it in court is when I fully understood what the proposal was all about. My EX had a lawyer but was no match for Mr. Roberts. Every demand of Mr. Robert to my Ex's lawyer was accompanied by "yes" , "ok" or "I agree". Needless to say, that lawyer didn’t make it to court a second time. Happy to say: I won my case and even got back some attorney fees. Mr. Roberts did his best, better than I expected. He is a very respectful person, detailed and a good listener. There is no imaginary way you can go wrong with this man. You have a case? Go with Mr. Roberts. He knows his job and he goes to work for you when he accepts to represent you.

Detailed Oriented, very organized and always responsive

Divorce experience is always stressful and usually scary - mentally and financially. My case was especially challenging because opposing attorney was aggressive and also my previous attorney was unexpectedly unable to continue (due to unrelated circumstances). When I got a surprise call from Corey... Law stating that my previous attorney could not continue but I had an option to choose from Scott Roberts or a different law firm. I was fortunate to find out over the first phone call with Scott that he would be the right one to handle my case. My case by then was already drawn out at year 2 through subpoena, multiple hearings and was at a brink of going through deposition. With Scott’s recommendation and through analytical work, both parties were able to avoid expensive court litigation and settled with a few months - that included switching over paperwork and drafting final paperwork to get them approval before end of 2025. The most impressive part of his work was his always level headed manner and quick response. Scott even corrected several mistakes by opposing attorney throughout the journey. Scott would not only go through different scenarios but also help educate me what to expect in next steps - which is extremely helpful because unlike other experiences in life, usually average person like me would not have any prior experience and his insights undoubtedly help me understand what to come with my choices. Thank you so much!

Strategic and Unshakeable

Part lawyer, part therapist, Scott helped me navigate probably one of the most difficult years of my life. I was dealing with an extremely high conflict co-parent and Scott was sharp, methodical, and thorough while holding him accountable. There were some intense moments, but he guided me through t...hat as well and I trusted his judgment every step of the way. Thanks to him, my son is now safe and I am free.

Great Family Lawyer with Logic and Heart

Scott was exactly what I needed during the trying time of my divorce. He was able to be supportive while also using the time we had efficiently. I had originally been offered a very tough deal, and after doing his research and due diligence, was able to secure a much more beneficial and fair deal. I ...would recommend Scott to anyone going through a family law issue and would reassure them that their case would be handled thoughtfully and efficiently. It can be intimidating to deal with lawyers , but Scott made those concerns irrelevant.
