We hired Mark in hopes of bettering my husbands daughters life. She just turned 5 and will not be coming to live with us. Mark barely responded to our emails. When we would contact him he wouldn't respond. We told Mark who we needed to be present as witnesses for my husband a month prior to the trial for custody and he ignored our request. Mark told us last moment that we wouldnt be allowed to have witnesses speak but that my husbands mother would have witnesses speak for her. We then told him right before the trial one of the witnesses would show up regardless what he said and she would speak on my husbands behalf as she had first hand information about the abuse and neglect of the daughter in her mothers care. He told the witness okay and we would use her the second day in the trial....the trial only lasted one day so my husband was lied to and swindled out of having witnesses speak for him. Mark seemed to be working for the opposing party...He never truly fought for my husband and for the well being of his daughter who now has to live with a neglectful mother and in unsafe situations. She admitted she would leave her daughter with a felon of weapon and drug charges and she still got custody on top of many other things that Mark didn't seem to think mattered. This man signed off agreeing to the parenting plan that was changed with out my husband agreeing to it. The mother was initially to pay a portion of travel costs for their daughter and it was changed to my husband paying it all...Mark didn't react to this in any way but agreeing to it with out my husbands consent. He barely communicated with us. He told us it didn't matter that my husband and his child's mother had a previous agreement to a set child support amount of 350 and has every receipt proving he has diligently paid it and approved almost 700 in child support every month. We cant believe how negligent this man was through this trial. The lack of care and fight that this man gave in this trial/case was outstanding. But shame on us for not paying more for a lawyer...he was the cheapest we could find and now we understand why at the expense of losing a child that now has to grow up in horrible circumstances and a father that now has to move from his home and his daughter will no longer have a bedroom because we can no longer afford a 2 bedroom due to the ridiculous amount of child support and fees he now owes. His daughter most likely wont be seeing her father in the summers now as she wont have a room and we wont have the money to fly her here and back on top of the child support...Ending this review...if you are a father looking to put your child in a better life, we implore you to NOT use this lawyer...he doesn't care about your situation and he doesn't care about your child. He comes off kind at first...if you use him...we told you so.

I am mentally ill, and get easily overwhelmed. I could never have gotten my SSI on my own. My therapist referred me 4 years ago. My case was pretty obvious so I got my SSI after the first appeal. Regarding Social Security, Mark does an excellent job of finding the records. He changed my life.
