First off, the one and only review for this Attorney cannot be further from the truth. In many instances involving divorce and child custody, it is very hard to get EXACTLY what you want. Attorneys are bound by the law and are more negotiators and advocates than anything else. Not to mention, being b...ound by the practice they work for in terms of pricing. Clients in this predicament have a tendency to act on emotions and will blame anyone but themselves for undesirable outcomes. Kathryn helped me create a parenting plan for my husband's ex, who is incredibly difficult and lives out of state. She was very straight forward with what would be realistic for our situation and I really appreciated the honesty. Sometimes what we think is best as a client is not always what is best for the situation. Emotions can get in the way and she was always able to keep a level head and stay focused on what was most important, the kids. No one likes paying lawyers for something that should have been able to be worked out between two adults, but Kathryn knows her stuff and is worth every penny.

One of two disappointing attorneys from Althauser Rayan Abbarno that worked on my case, would not recommend to anybody. She is unmotivated and unwilling to fight for your rights. There was a $150 consultation fee, $5,000 retainer......3 years and about $20,000 later I have nothing to show for it. My... divorce has yet to be finalized, I hardly get to see my kids and she will not hold my ex accountable for constant/reoccurring contempt of parenting plan. I was better off before hiring this attorney.
