If you want a firm that will not return your calls, emails, or any other correspondence in a timely matter then this is your firm. A case that should have taken 6 months TOPS has now stretched to almost TWO years and has not yet been resolved. Whenever we try to talk to them, we are told they are w...ith another client or not in the office. They seem to move through lawyers very quickly as well. You never know who will be representing you when they actually do respond to you. I think getting legal assistance from a Cracker Jack box would have been a better choice.

I entrusted David Gates with representing me in a child custody case. Although he did bill plenty of time to my account, I saw very little evidence of him actually spending time on my case. I had zero visibility into what he was doing or what the status of my case was, and it was virtually impossible... to get even basic answers from him. I was kept so uninformed of my case that I was completely unaware of court dates and documents filed with the court, some of which I leaned about for the first time when reviewing my case with his replacement. Hire this person at your own risk. You have been warned.

I hired David for a very simple matter. After 2 months and many phone calls/emails he still did not file anything for us or write ANY letters on our behalf. Our case just stalled while complications coming from the defense's side get piling up and making our case even harder. We finally after two mo...nths of him doing NOTHING, asked for our money back. After 3 1/2 months of still nothing filed or written on our behalf we got our money partially back.

i have had him work for me and he did everything that could be done for me the one bad thing i have to say is that he sent some one eles tooclose my case but there was nothing anyone him or some eles could have done to change the out come i made my choices and we all lived with them just cuase he was... not there on my last court date doesnt mean that if something could have been done it was not done i have to say even with that he was the best lawyer i have ever had
