Biography
I am a dog-loving transplant from California who absolutely adores the Pacific Northwest! I moved to Olympia in 2004 to marry my law-school sweetheart who was a partner in a law firm in Olympia.
I graduated magna cum laude and phi beta kappa, from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Geology and received her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School (formerly Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College). I am an active member of the Washington State Bar, and an inactive member of the California State Bar.
I have significant commercial and bankruptcy experience. I spent two years as an office manager/firm administrator at a small law firm and more than two years as a vendor contract manager for Western Institutional Review Board, Inc.
I spent the year and a half after I passed the bar in Washington State as an attorney/law clerk for a Chapter 7 trustee where I learned about a wide variety of bankruptcy matters. In June 2017, I opened Deschutes Law Group in order to assist small businesses and personal clients with commercial and bankruptcy matters.
