Chester L Baldwin III

Chester Baldwin, Principal Attorney of Baldwin Legal Group, PLLC specializes in protecting clients’ rights in criminal and DUI cases, helping clients restore gun and voting rights, sealing and expunging convictions, and supporting landlords with unlawful detainers. He also represents homeless youth in Juvenile Court pro bono. Mr. Baldwin has worked in private practice in Olympia for over a decade after beginning his career as a Rule 9 Prosecutor with the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Baldwin graduated from the University of Washington Foster School of Business with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Business Computer Information Systems and concurrently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from the UW School of Public Health and Community Medicine. After graduating, he worked as a financial analyst and healthcare consultant for Mercer Human Resource Consulting before attending Seattle University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate, graduating with Honors. Mr. Baldwin is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Thurston & Pierce County Bar Associations and is also admitted to practice in Federal Court.

In addition to a thriving law practice, Mr. Baldwin represents several associations during the legislative session in Olympia, advocating on their behalf and working with lawmakers to make sure his clients' interests are being considered, including Habitat for Humanity who he represents pro bono.

Chester is an Eagle Scout and has volunteered with Boy Scouts of America. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling with his family.
