Unhappy Clients
We hired Carmen Rowe to represent us in a dispute over a family cabin. The battle drug on for over a year. During that time she only invoiced us twice & both times we were charged several thousands over what she quoted us.

Replied last September 29, 2025This situation was, as with all such cases of family property and family disputes, very challenging and emotional. I do not want to diminish the frustrations that a client may feel. The representation here is inaccurate - there is the proverbial "rest of the story". But, respecting the attorney-client relationship, what I can say is that I fully appreciate and am sympathetic with how hard this was on everyone. Litigation is notoriously difficult to predict, especially in highly emotional cases. I am always genuinely sorry to see when emotions about the underlying situation cloud a successful result. It is just one of many reasons that we work very hard to help people resolve a case outside the litigation, as there is always a cost - not just financial, but emotional as well.
