Unhappy Clients
We hired Carmen Rowe to represent us in a dispute over a family cabin. The battle drug on for over a year. During that time she only invoiced us twice & both times we were charged several thousands over what she quoted us.
This situation was, as with all such cases of family property and family disputes, very challenging and emotional. I do not want to diminish the frustrations that a client may feel. The representation here is inaccurate - there is the proverbial "rest of the story". But, respecting the attorney-client relationship, what I can say is that I fully appreciate and am sympathetic with how hard this was on everyone. Litigation is notoriously difficult to predict, especially in highly emotional cases. I am always genuinely sorry to see when emotions about the underlying situation cloud a successful result. It is just one of many reasons that we work very hard to help people resolve a case outside the litigation, as there is always a cost - not just financial, but emotional as well.
"Carmen is one of the best lawyers in the state. Where other lawyers might shy away, she dives into difficult, complicated cases because she has the brainpower and experience to get the best results for her clients. People are often angry and hurt when they seek a lawyer's help. Lawsuits can only fix the legal problems, not the indignities and emotional harm that go along with legal problems. Carmen understands. She guides her clients through the most difficult situations. Carmen has my highest endorsement. I would entrust any client or family member to her. She's the lawyer that I would want on my side."
"Carmen is a highly skilled attorney that is exceptionally bright and has a broad knowledge of the law. We have consulted on a variety of topics involving real estate and litigation, I have found that she adds real value to any matter on which she works. With such a breadth of knowledge, flexible approach, and dedication to her client's cause, she is a potent and determined advocate that any client is fortunate to have on their side. Carmen has a long line of repeated success attesting to her abilities and I strongly endorse her."
"I endorse Carmen's work as a colleague and a friend. We have frequently used each other as a resource to discuss updates in the law and bounce ideas off each other. I refer cases to her with confidence."
