This is my first online review ever. There are not words to describe how awful my experience was with ARH. She is absolutely a nightmare to try to work with. She does not recount events or information/advice she has given accurately. She is accusatory and defensive. She sends emails that are personal attacks on you, the client, and she will absolutely insist on billing you for all of them. She is unapproachable and unreachable and defensive. I fired her and found another attorney. I wish I had read her reviews before hiring her. My bad.

She is a liar! She proposed all of this and sweet talked about how she was going to do this and that. She said she will increase my child support which - SHE DIDN'T ! She told me I didn't have to appear at my last court hearing (to finalize my divorce) and NOW I am paying the consequences. Things were argued in court that day and to avoid this she agreed to what the defendant wanted without asking me! She tries to convince you to agree to the other parties requests and tells you 'Well the court will more than likely not be able to do this" ! she shows a lot of work in the beginning and then SHE SLACKS! she can't handle it! I am only telling you from experience. Don't HIRE HER!

I paid her for a simple parenting plan and I paid her over $4000 dollars. I did all the work and they gave me a parenting plan but never submitted it to the court office. Lots of hopes and never followed through. She made me believe she would represent me well but was terrible with follow up. It's sad when you pay so much up front and hope for representation.

Anne would update me about my case one day and turn around 3 days later and tel me something completely different, blaming me when I had nothing to do with the problem that arose. She would tell me that she sent me paperwork and when I never received it, accused me of lying. I believe that she did more harm than good in my case and I finally demanded a refund and my file. She refused to return any money to me. I found a new lawyer and he found several mistakes that she had made.

Anne promised to enforce restraining orders for me before the court. I have the transcript. She didn't. I was left open to an attack, and attacked I was. I specifically told her that I wanted to go to trial. She agreed through an email. The next day she told me court was cancelled but showed up at court with the attorney representing the parties I had restraining orders against. She dismissed all the restraining orders without my knowledge and consent. To note: She showed up on a court cases that I had not signed an agreement for her to represent me. Since then my son and I have been threatned and life is a living hell. Now, she has filed a judgement against me for services that she was not legally contracted for. Someone has to stop this. Read a review where she left her client homeless with her life threatened.

I can only assume that the negative reviewers are hiding behind anonymous comments to bash someone who tried to help them, but was rebuffed due to personality problems in the reviewer. Our family's experience was completely different. It was a highly complex case involving a disabled victim of domestic violence. Ms. Redford-Hall had to work very hard to overcome systemic bias (male, disabled, move away, etc.) and eventually obtained sole custody for her client which continues to this day. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field of practice and has a very good reputation with the Court
