Dan E. Liebman

I had never needed an attorney before and hired Dan because he was available on short notice to help with a parenting plan/custody dispute. Dan took my deposit of $3,500 and then did nothing on my case. He would not answer emails or phone calls about questions I had. 2 days before the hearing he hadn...'t even put in a notice of appearance and I had to fire him because I was concerned he would either not show up or had not done anything to prepare for the case. I had to go into court and ask for a continuance. The whole experience was extremely stressful. Dan was not at all friendly helpful or professional. In terms of family law I would not recommend you seek counsel with Dan Liebman.

I'm in the military and our family has moved around quite a bit. My ex was filing 2-5 frivolous motions a week in the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Liebman explained our legal strategy. It took some time (because my ex insisted upon filing motion after motion after motion) but we moved through all legal issues and motions and finally went to trial, and won. By won, I mean, Mr. Liebman was able to provide such compelling expert testimony by my child's Psychiatrist at trial, to The Pierce County Superior Court, that all restrictions necessary to keep my child safe were ordered by the judge, as well as strict obligations for the father to complete, until he is allowed a parenting reunification process. Mr. Liebman and his office represented me and my child to provide my family the peace and protection to live a normal life again.

I spoke with Dan E, Liebman over the phone while in Texas about my family case, and he led me to believe ha would take my case, but after two weeks of trying to get a hold of Mr. Liebman he finally returned my phone call only to tell me that he was not going to take my case, and then informed me, qu...ite nonchalantly, that I had a court date the next morning. I firmly believe that this lawyer spoke with my exes lawyer and set me up for a "loss by default" case knowing full well that I could not possibly appear in Lewis county family court from Corpus Christi, TX in a 12 hour timeframe. Any underhanded lawyer that would pull a scam like this should not be trusted, and should be disbarred!! Manuel E
