Mr Ellington is easy to talk to and down to earth. He does something as simple as traffic ticket, but for us, he represented our son on something more serious. He was committed , he responds quickly, and he keeps you informed. He charges a reasonable price. He is the only lawyer i have ever actu...ally trusted. He continued to be concerned about our son, after the case was over.

I was recommended this lawyer for speeding tickets years ago and he did fine. The problem is he mainly gets you out of the ticket by his name and jurisdiction in other courts. Later I had him for a more serious and expensive case in which I believe he never had any intentions on using his knowledge t...o fight it. He instead looked for loop holes to continuously extend the case once saying you just extend the case until it isn't worth it for the state to fight it. The problem is when you have your own life and have to take off work many times more then you should it becomes a problem. In my situation he also was repeatedly late yet the first time I was late he instantly resigned. No phone call when I was living less then 5 min away. I didn't realize I had two cases that day. This was infuriating when you spend over five thousand dollars and you get this service. Traffic cases he may be fine but a anything more then that I would l look else where.

He might be good for traffic tickets, in my case however he was handling a misdemeanor and he showed up late more then half the time. People around would laugh and say you have a paid attorney and he is late. He would double book and just assume he could show late. Recently though I had a court dat...e and he never showed. He says I wasn't there but I was and he left without contacting me. In my opinion he is just lazy and wants only traffic tickets.

I have used Tom a few times over the years. He won my case for a speeding ticket in Fife when I was in high school - I found him because my brother was on the golf team and he was the coach there. Next a few years later he won my case of a following too closely violation. A few months ago he won my ...3rd case for a speeding ticket in Issaquah. I have horrible luck with tickets - i get more tickets and drive safer than most people my age... anyway - Tom has won all 3 of my cases within a matter of minutes in court. He is amazing to watch, all of my cases he has taken on with about 10 others for that day and I have yet to see him lose. I would recommend him for any legal issues you may have. His rate is extremely reasonable and is way worth it considering the amount tickets and insurance may cost. He is professional, respectable and very responsive. I have nothing but praise for this man.
