Mark Elliott took our money and never did anything in our case. We have waited 5 months for a refund and never got it. He ignores all emails, communication, etc. A total FRAUD. He did nothing in our case, got our down payment. First week he was responding to email, but then stopped, (October-Nov) s...poke to me on phone 3 times over 2-3 weeks telling me he would start our case. I had already filed divorce on my own. I just needed parenting plan and child support set up. He continually lied to me and said "he'd get started the next day". He eventually stopped all contact. In December he told me that he would "refund" asap on Dec 9th. It is now Feb 20th. To steal money from a vulnerable family, be lied to repeatedly, we never did anything for any services through him. I can't believe something that can practice law can do this. We have been asking for a refund the day after we spoke after he lied saying he would file CS . He ignored all calls after that. Ignored all emails. The fact he is able to do a contract then steal the money from people and not offer any help. Worst attorney ever. Stay away. I honestly think he took the money and spent it. Took too much to handle. Thought he could work our simple case. But he never refunded our deposit. So we will be taking him to court. This is fraud.

do not hire!!!!! He never turned anything in and never communicated with me. I had to call him daily just to get any updates. My ex husbands attorney pulled a fast one in the court documents and Mark never fought it. multiple people (including myself) have turned him into the bar. the judge was alway...s getting on him in court for being unprepared.

please do not hire this attorney. He did not file my response papers and ruined my adequate cause hearing. He lied to me on numerous occasions that he messaged the other party council when didn't, didn't turn in my papers that the court requested, and didn't fight for me in court to the point that he... had to pay attorney fees to the other party. I had to apologize to my ex's attorney in which they laughed at me. It was embarrassing and hurt me. I went through chemo and lost my son in a very inhumane way cause of my ex's lies and I found mark on thumbtack and gave him my situation and he offered to help only to make my case even worse. I tried contacting him number of times and he barley ever responded. After my cause hearing I let him go and he went MIA for awhile. After hearing from past clients and the state bar that there is a open investigation against him for him doing this to numerous people i was in complete shock. I begged Mark to give me my retainer back and after many attempts he finally emailed me saying he would but than never did. He took his profile off of thumbtack and took down his website for his law office. He is being under investigation and avoiding it. Be aware!
