I contacted Mr. Ennis when a family member fell critically ill. Mr. Ennis was wonderful. My family member had Mr. Ennis make a will 22 years ago and had not updated it or been in contact with the office since. I phoned the office, and within a half hour, Mr. Ennis reached out to me. He had review...ed the will, remembered my relative, and helped me through the necessary additions, updates, and amendments. Mr. Ennis then personally took charge of getting paperwork to the hospital administrators that day, getting the necessary documents signed by my relative with great professional expertise in deeply private matters, and most importantly with compassion for my loved relative. I asked Mr. Ennis specific questions regarding wills and irrevocable trusts. Mr. Ennis told me that such trusts were not viable and that the State of Washington was "cracking down' on such strategies with respect to Medicaid and VA Aid and Attendance and would not be allowed. I sought the counsel o...f another attorney who told me that Mr. Ennis' advise was false. Mr. Ennis proceeded to charge me $375 for an hour of inappropriate and misleading advise. Mr. Ennis purports to be an Elder Law Attorney. He is not knowledgeable.
