Dan educated us and helped us navigate through the legal system which we were very unfamiliar with. He helped my husband receive an insurance settlement from an accident he was in. When my marriage was going down the tubes, I asked everyone about their attorney, and Dan was the best matched recommendation I got. Dan kept trying to settle my case, rather than push it out- which was the goal of my Ex husband. His time and work have value and need to be paid for, however I never felt that I was just a source of revenue. In the end, I got more than I ever asked for in the settlement. I spent some money on such a drawn out experience, but it ended up being about what I offered my Ex-husband to settle in the beginning-- and honestly, I still like Dan more. If it was going to cost that much, I am glad Dan got the money instead of the Ex! :} Whenever I hear of someone who needs a really good attorney who "gets it", I recommend Dan. He knows his stuff, he knows the other attorneys (the opponents), and he knows how to play the case depending on the judge he is in front of. ***ALSO IF THERE IS DV INVOLVED-- HE GETS IT-- and that is a huge and critical piece if that is an issue in your situation. One of my friends used Dan, and I got to watch him semi-objectively in her case. Honestly, I can not imagine that she could have come out with anything better than she got. He got her out of the state of Washington, without the location of where she and her child relocated to in the record, and got her convicted abuser labeled "intransigent" in the court records.
