Approachable and unflappable. Tom Oldfield is a blend of experience, knowledge and maturity. Tom comes from a family of attorneys with strong ties to the title insurance business. His father, also an attorney, founded a title insurance company in 1929 and worked for the Federal Land Bank which was able to save the farms of many families during the Depression years. Tom has continued these caring ways by supporting various children’s organizations in the area. He is presently on the Board of the Children’s Home Society of Washington and of the Tacoma Community College Foundation. Tom graduated from Whitman College and continued at the University of Washington where he received his J.D. in 1970. He has served as Supervisor of Banking for Washington State and continues his law practice in business, real estate and banking.
When not at work, Tom has climbed four of the five major peaks in Washington. Now it is bicycling that keeps him fit. Tom and his wife, Skip, live in the Gig Harbor area.
Tom’s primary practice is in the Real Estate and Business areas. He shares with the other principals of the firm the core value that our primary objective is to resolve the client’s problem or concern in a prompt, efficient and caring manner.

Great Lawyer
Tom helped us research the issue, provided a recommendation with justification and facts, and setttle our dispute. His knowledge and research resulted in a settlement that otherwise would have in the long run cost us more time, money and heartache.
