Timothy Lewis Mitchell

Timothy is a partner at Cruser Mitchell’s Atlanta and Seattle offices.

Timothy’s practice specializes in first- and third-party bad faith insurance claims, with a focus on insurance coverage, automotive litigation, and property damage litigation. Timothy also maintains a strong litigation practice in a wide variety of other areas:

• Employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims under federal and state law
• Complex products liability and catastrophic injuries claims involving a variety of mechanical equipment and recreational products
• Third party malicious prosecution claims
• Negligent security premises liability claims
• Homeowner association disputes
• Complex commercial litigation
• Commercial landlord tenant law

Timothy represents a variety of local and international companies, including those listed in the Fortune 500 and Forbes Largest Private Companies and companies in a wide variety of services including food and alcohol distribution, ride-sharing and rental operations, large scale recreational activities, and the entertainment and music industry. Timothy also advises small businesses on preventative measures in their day to day operations.

He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from University of Georgia School of Law.
After graduation from law school, Timothy served as an associate with a boutique Atlanta law firm, assisting in cases involving minority shareholder squeeze-outs, wrongful termination, partnership disputes, legal professional negligence, breach of contract, construction litigation, and taxation disputes.

Timothy is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and Washington. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit.
