Travis S Groves

I wrote a review previously about Travis helping me win my case. After the hearing Travis told me that although we won at the moment, there was always a chance that my ex could try and get the verdict overturned and we would then be thrust back into another battle. Well that is exactly what happened.... Lucky enough for me Travis was on top of the ball and was the one who actually notified me of the new hearing and that my ex was in fact contesting the ruling. We prepared and walked in confident. Travis didn't budge and held our position. He was able to get them to settle and agree to our terms without a trial which was absolutely amazing. We are finally done for now and should anything else occur in future, Travis will be the first phone call I make!

I hired Travis to represent my son after being served with paperwork from my ex seeking custody. I called Travis on a Sunday with the intent to leave a message since I was already forced to do so with several other law firms I called before dialing his number. When I called Travis though he answered ...immediately. I was absolutely shocked to be speak to an attorney on a Sunday morning! An actual attorney not a receptionist or message keeper but Travis himself. I explained to him what had happened and he proceeded to explain to me what needed to be done. Not once during the initial conversation did he tell me I needed to give him any sort of deposit before he could speak with me further. Every other office I have ever dealt with has had some sort of receptionist who has been quick to tell me that I needed to deposit a large sum of money before the attorney could speak with me. Travis dealt with the major issues first and then moved into the financial ones. Financially he was extremely fair and reasonable. He wasn't the typical shark out to soak up the funds. He not only forewarned me about what the fees would end up being, but he would let me know ahead of time a payment was coming due so that I had time to come up with the fees. If there was something he could cut out to lessen the financial burden on me he did. It was definitely the most amazing experience and most importantly....He won my case! I will say though that Travis is a great lawyer with a lot of experience. He is a straight shooter and will tell you like it is. If your looking to play the victim and have your hand held throughout the entire process that will only get you so far with him. If he tells you to do something or obtain something do it because he knows what he's doing, and it showed each and every time we walked into the court room. I could not ask for a better Lawyer or better experience then the one I received with Travis. I will most definitely be referring him to others as well as using his services for any family law needs in the future!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRAVIS GROVES FOR ANY PRESENT OR FUTURE CHILD CUSTODY/PARENTING PLAN CASE. HE IS VERY TRUSTWORTHY. HIS COMMUNITCATION SKILLS ARE OUTSTANDING. HIS RESPONSE ON GETTING BACK TO ME I FELT LIKE I WAS A BIG PRIORITY TO HIM EVENTHOUGH HE HAS A LOT OF OTHER CASES HE IS WORKING WITH. TRAVI...S IS VERY HONEST AND REALISTIC ABOUT WHAT COULD HAPPEN WITH MY PARENTING PLAN SITUATION. HE DIDNT MAKE THINGS IS ALL PEACHES AND CREAM, HE WAS VERY REALISTIC ABOUT BOTH SIDES. Mr Groves is my Wifes and Mine opinion is exactly what you need, Prompt dosent waste youre time direct but also humerous at times wich can lighten the load, You should want an agressive attourney and he is but most of all he actually cares for his clients and never sugar coats a topic and his attent...ion to detail is remarkable, iam saying this and I have not won or lost my case yet. You're obviously reading this because you are considering your next step, Separation or Divorce. Abuse, Drugs, infidelity, it really does not matter, but you have the right to a divorce, and have to account to no one else except yourself. Before you go any further sit down with yourself, and write ...down what would the perfect morning look like; if that is you sitting alone you are ready. Again peace begins with yourself. Before you make the call to good old Travis realize and be prepared to be disappointed in the financial inequity that may occur it won't be his fault but the division will be based on need and ability to pay. This equation will be played back and forth many times throughout the process. You will find Travis straight forward, consistent, knowledgeable, and billing consistent with the current market. Do: Tell Travis your intensions he is your counselor and he will give you an expectation with the circumstances at hand. Do, what Travis tells you to do!!!! If you receive a discovery fill it out 100% complete and burry O/C with all the facts. Do not: Listen to your Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Brother/Sister, or anyone else this is your fight. Learn to live another day, and each day will be brighter as it goes along. Take the fight on by yourself. Do: set aside divorce time. This is the only time you think about your goals at hand, and then get back to life if you can. I had a room that I shut the door when I was not working on it. You will find Travis easy to work with, responsible and caring for all family members. You will also get to know him throughout the process and in the end you say to yourself, "We did all we could." That's all that can be done. Good luck on your journey, I personally would rather go through 7th grade math again than go through this nonsense, but you will do fine if Travis will take your case. I would hire him again, but that won't happen. I'm eating breakfast alone and right now that is fine. There will be another day that I will find the love in another persons eyes again at my own pace. Travis can hold his own, I was comfortable going into a, "Tijuana Knife fight," with him - you are in good hands. Ask him about his dog, he will know you read this then, and where it came from. (He likes the dog) I would hire again
