Travis was my first experience with a lawyer and I am very glad I had him on my side. I went through a messy divorce and custody battle and was completely taken advantage of, by my ex. Travis and I have different communication styles and approaches, which was a little challenging at times. He is brut...ally honest, intense and very straight forward. BUT he truly cares for his clients and will go over and beyond for them. Replying instantly, being available almost 24/7, walking me through everything and making sure I understood it all, told me exactly what to do before our next appointment and expressed concern and care for my well-being. Even when he had completed the case I paid him to do and I wanted to file something to the court, he told me to show up on his free Saturday clinics for clients, and will help me and explain everything to me. I highly recommend Travis, and please take his directness and honestly as care and support.

There is So much I could say about Travis Groves, but what immediately comes to mind is he knows the law. Travis is fair and straight forward, he tells you like it is and what to expect and just gives it to you raw and uncut. If you like a lawyer that won’t beat around the bush and at times can bring... you to pure frustration in attempts to make sure that when you get on a stand to testify your delivery is damn near flawless this in your Guy. We worked with Travis for over 2 years with a custody case. We attended his free clinic initially and he assisted us in preparing all our paperwork for free to file at the court house. Later on down the line we had to retain him as our representative, his fee was reasonable and fair, he was easy to get ahold of, night or day, answered our questions, text and emails in a timely manner listened to our concerns and gave us great advice. He told us if we continued to do what we were doing, we would be ok and that the Judge would rule accordingly. Our case was straight forward he said, and he was right. I hired Travis to represent my son after being served with paperwork from my ex seeking custody. I called Travis on a Sunday with the intent to leave a message since I was already forced to do so with several other law firms I called before dialing his number. When I called Travis though he answered ...immediately. I was absolutely shocked to be speak to an attorney on a Sunday morning! An actual attorney not a receptionist or message keeper but Travis himself. I explained to him what had happened and he proceeded to explain to me what needed to be done. Not once during the initial conversation did he tell me I needed to give him any sort of deposit before he could speak with me further. Every other office I have ever dealt with has had some sort of receptionist who has been quick to tell me that I needed to deposit a large sum of money before the attorney could speak with me. Travis dealt with the major issues first and then moved into the financial ones. Financially he was extremely fair and reasonable. He wasn't the typical shark out to soak up the funds. He not only forewarned me about what the fees would end up being, but he would let me know ahead of time a payment was coming due so that I had time to come up with the fees. If there was something he could cut out to lessen the financial burden on me he did. It was definitely the most amazing experience and most importantly....He won my case! I will say though that Travis is a great lawyer with a lot of experience. He is a straight shooter and will tell you like it is. If your looking to play the victim and have your hand held throughout the entire process that will only get you so far with him. If he tells you to do something or obtain something do it because he knows what he's doing, and it showed each and every time we walked into the court room. I could not ask for a better Lawyer or better experience then the one I received with Travis. I will most definitely be referring him to others as well as using his services for any family law needs in the future!
