I live in San Diego County with my wife and my two son's at the time lived in Pierce County. You're obviously reading this because you are considering your next step, Separation or Divorce. Abuse, Drugs, infidelity, it really does not matter, but you have the right to a divorce, and have to account to no one else except yourself. Before you go any further sit down with yourself, and write ...down what would the perfect morning look like; if that is you sitting alone you are ready. Again peace begins with yourself. Before you make the call to good old Travis realize and be prepared to be disappointed in the financial inequity that may occur it won't be his fault but the division will be based on need and ability to pay. This equation will be played back and forth many times throughout the process. You will find Travis straight forward, consistent, knowledgeable, and billing consistent with the current market. Do: Tell Travis your intensions he is your counselor and he will give you an expectation with the circumstances at hand. Do, what Travis tells you to do!!!! If you receive a discovery fill it out 100% complete and burry O/C with all the facts. Do not: Listen to your Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Brother/Sister, or anyone else this is your fight. Learn to live another day, and each day will be brighter as it goes along. Take the fight on by yourself. Do: set aside divorce time. This is the only time you think about your goals at hand, and then get back to life if you can. I had a room that I shut the door when I was not working on it. You will find Travis easy to work with, responsible and caring for all family members. You will also get to know him throughout the process and in the end you say to yourself, "We did all we could." That's all that can be done. Good luck on your journey, I personally would rather go through 7th grade math again than go through this nonsense, but you will do fine if Travis will take your case. I would hire him again, but that won't happen. I'm eating breakfast alone and right now that is fine. There will be another day that I will find the love in another persons eyes again at my own pace. Travis took my case last minute with only a month to prepare because I really was getting taken to the cleaners by my ex and her lawyer and really needed legal advice in my final divorce hearing.
