Travis S Groves

I would like to start off by saying thank you to Travis. I went in to his office and was greeted by his sweet big dopey dog which put me at ease immediately. I was so nervous about an upcoming court date I had but his knowledge of the system and his candor gave me clear direction on how to approach... the situation and resulted as positive an outcome as I could have hoped. He pointed out many things I overlooked and gave me such confidence about not letting the threats of others live rent free in my head. (To stop being a victim.) It would be great for anyone to have someone like Travis to talk to before going into court. He was very honest and straight forward. I cannot thank him enough and if I need any further help he will be the first person I will go to.

Travis is amazing, and I honestly can't recommend him ENOUGH! He is knowledgeable, professional, and client-centered. Before even retaining Travis, I was able to speak with him on a few different occasions and get information on the process and what I could expect, as my situation was somewhat uniqu...e/complex. This information was invaluable, as it gave me the insight needed to make a sound decision on whether (and how) to move forward with my case. After retaining Travis, he started on my case immediately, and made the process relatively easy for me. Travis not only met my expectations, but he far exceeded them. I got the outcome that I desired, and I couldn't have asked for (nor received) better representation! I would also like to acknowledge the hard work of the Groves Law Firm staff. They were friendly, helpful, and very communicative during this process as well. Even when Travis was out of the office, they would make sure that my questions were answered and that I received a prompt call back.

I contacted Travis regarding a divorce that I wasn't sure was going to be easy or tough. I expected the latter. Travis found time to talk with me on the same day I contacted him and really put my mind at ease, meticulously explaining the legal process which I was just about to embark on. He explai...ned to me the ins and outs of the proceedings and about how it could be drawn out or uncontested depending on the ex. He prepared me for the worst, but surprisingly she didn't contest anything and 91 days later the divorce was finalized. If I was to ever go through that again Travis would be my go to guy.

I hired Travis Groves to tackle a cross-state custody case. Paid him $5000 retainer right away, to which he used up within a month, and asked for more after crashing and burning hard on my case. After all was said and done, this man charged $7000 total for the most ineffective performance I've ever... seen. Mr Groves literally cited his OWN performance as a breakdown of his ability to suit my needs, and cited his own ineffectiveness as being the problem. Did not offer refund. Now tell me, if you knew you did someone a disservice, would you try to make it right? Not Travis. It seems as though he quit due to pride. He is also very negative, and uses derogatory language and seemingly has an issue with profanity and professionalism. If Mr. Groves gets upset, he directs his anger like that of a child. I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone. He took my money, and did literally nothing for me. The most inconsequential $7,000 I've ever spent in my whole life in a heartbreaking situation involving extreme parental alienation. He could care less. Only cares about his check. Be sure when choosing counsel, to brush over this man.

Hiring Mr. Groves was the best thing I could've done for my divorce. I have no knowledge family law and I was terrified to go in front of a judge. Mr. Groves made sure that I had all of my facts straight and everything prepared for the day of the hearing and just in case we went to trial. (Thankfully... we didn't) He left no stone unturned and made himself available to me whenever I had questions. Without his preparedness and expertise I would've made a fool of myself in the courtroom. My case went into default when the other party failed to appear. Had the other party shown, I'm confident we would've won. Thank you, Mr. Groves. I would recommend you to anyone in need of an attorney in Family Law.
