Biography
Focusing his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on real estate, construction, land use, and business law, Christopher Luhrs joined Phillips Burgess in spring 2017. He brings to the firm eight years of experience as a compliance analyst and legal professional in the areas of real estate, complex civil litigation, mediation, and creditor’s rights.
A graduate in finance from the University of Colorado, the Northwest native earned his JD/MBA from Gonzaga University School of Law, where he was president of the Gonzaga Society for Law & Business, vice president of the Health Law Society, and managing editor of the Gonzaga Journal of International Law. During law school, Chris clerked with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General and was a legal extern for Providence Health & Services and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Prior to his affiliation with Phillips Burgess, Chris was an attorney for a multi-state law firm representing major American financial institutions, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Chris practices primarily out of the firm’s Tacoma office.
