I recently hired Eric to help deal with my previous landlord. My partner and I lived in our apartment for 3.5 years and paid a deposit when we moved in. The building owner decided to renovate the units and we were supposed to be moved into a new, updated apartment. We were given a specific date, i...t came and went three times and we were living out of boxes for more than a month. I work from home and my internet had been moved to the new unit as of the first date. We had no choice but to find a new apartment. We did, and gave 4 days shy of a full months notice. Near the end of the month, before we were even supposed to be completely moved out, we got a letter saying we would not be getting our deposit back. My partner stopped by the apartment that night to finish cleaning and return the last key and it had been completely gutted and was full of construction materials. We hired Eric the next day and within a week he had gotten us our deposit back. This guy does not take crap from anyone and it was very clear that our situation was important to him from the first meeting. Cannot thank him or recommend him highly enough!
