Regret using Pamela - review years after custody case

This attorney was not at all helpful with my case. I strongly believe Pamela should only represent women. Pamela is ruthless and the most dishonest attorney I have ever dealt with. If you are a man wanting more custody rights then DON'T use this attorney. She wants men to pay out more than they can a...fford and seems to care less about the welfare or needs of a child. A child needs both parents! After years of attempting to get visitation rights with my child, it appeared that Pamela was working for the mother and not me. It was a lot of time and money wasted in my opinion. I dealt with Pamela 5 years ago on the custody case and I still have no relationship with my child because of the way Pamela handled the case. She came highly recommended by an Army buddy's wife and I couldn't be more disappointed in the outcome. I have since found an outstanding attorney that I feel is working for me and who believes in a father having a relationship with his child.

I did feel she worked for me

I had a great distain for her so I told my self I would wait some time after ( about 2 years ) before I wrote this. To start I didn't think I would need much help in my case because I just want to have more access to my kids and be done with it. So I thought Pam should be adequate for the job. She se...ems to be an aggressive. My case due to my situation was only going to go one way. Being a White male in a Corporate Job making good money working hard for my family the court system is set up to reward the opposite. I provide Pam well prepared documentation which. She communicated fairly well via text. She had to take a couple personal time off which was not communicated to me. I asked her to communicate to the other lawyer and she was very reluctant to do so. I was very disappointed with her progress and almost hired another lawyer (actually gave him a retainer of $3000) after finding out he had a past criminal record I recalled my retainer. because of quite a few of her comments to me I felt that she didn't like me because I was a man. I confronted her after all this and asked her if she was working for me. She said yes. I felt by her statements and actions that she didn't know was an Investment instrument specifically pension plans and 401k plans. I had a unique issue with a small pension plan that need attention for the other lawyer three months prior to a deadline of a signature. She finally presented the request to the other lawyer after we had a deal on the divorce. The other attorney tried to stall on the signature holding up the divorce. Pam to me seemed more concerned about getting the other attorney's request answered than my divorce. I pointed this out to her which made her mad and she threatened to drop me during the divorce. I had to pay for a consultation with high price attorney to sort out my option due to Pam's actions. All that said I could see that she does help out the Hispanic community with the legal system and has done good work with this community. The legal system is not for the people (from my view point the judges distain who they are supposed to serve) she helps them with the system. I think should would better represent women than men.

Great family law attorney

We have had many years in and out of court dealing with a high conflict child custody case. Our last attorney was awful. Cost us a ton of money to get nowhere. We asked around for recommendations and Pamela was mentioned to us by a paralegal friend. We were told she is aggressive and tough, just ...what we needed because the system is historically tough for fathers here. Pamela has done more than we thought possible. The years of fighting in court have been resolved because of her help. We have shared custody of my stepson now and she helped save us from so many false allegations. Excellent attorney, I recommend her to everyone. We are so beyond thankful for her help.

Great Lawyer!

The last time I dealt with her she got me custody. She works the bureaucratic system very well. The system for Fathers is very tough. Give her a chance we have our boy

Pamela Solier is the worse lawyer out there.

She pretends to know and is very good at trapping clients. She convinced me that my $5k retainer would be ok to start... after almost 2 months in my case, she did not bill me, signed off my consitutional right, but signing a restraining order prohibiting me from seeing or contacting my child, then, ...if that was not good enough, she continued the hearing for another $800 court hearing and a $500 for signing the continuance. She refused to file a motion for revision. She miscontrued the law and refused to accept that we have published law on point of the issue of contempt of hearing. Finally when I got her billing for $12k for the first month for doing nothing but worsening my case, I fired her and demanded my money back. She has not refunded me and I had to go to trial on my own to repair the damages she caused me. She was so afraid of the commissioner and got wacked by the commissioner. She also refused to write a statement regarding the commissioner's actions. I did. I wrote to the judicial commission and soon aftere the commissioner Canada Thurston got removed from the family law department. I wish my posts can prevent others from falling prey of this inadequate consel. OK to contact me [email address removed]
