Over a 6 month period she kept in very little contact only to contact me on phone once and in person once both the very day before trial date. I made several calls over that time period and was only able to speak with her legal aid or get no answer or return call after leaving voicemail messages. Wro...te many of letters inquiring about my case and bringing up conflicts that could of helped with the case only to never get a response. I know she recieved them because I saw my letters in the file folder she brought to our meeting the day before trial was to happen. Originally she affirmed to me that she could get the case thrown out or or dropped down to minor offense since it was my first offense and most of the small amount of evidence the prosecutor had against me was all conflicting, bias, or circumstantial(which not i kinda believed she could despite being told by many people that have had her defend them in the past that I should hire a different attorney). I foolishly, not having any prior experience in the justice system or laws, let her talk me into to taking a plea agreement that was the next seriousness degree but still highly above what it should have been and what she said she could get it down to. I dont recommend at all.
