Jesse D Lamp

Jesse is an efficient and detail-oriented advocate with experience in criminal, administrative, energy, aviation, water, cannabis, Indian, Tribal and employment discrimination law, and many other areas of the law.

Jesse’s legal career began at a national law firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, before returning to Washington and serving as the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney of Ferry County. He later served as a Deputy Prosecutor in Stevens County, prosecuting matters in Veterans and Drug Courts, as well as juvenile criminal matters. In May 2024, Jesse was appointed as the Ferry County Prosecutor, a position he was elected to in November 2024.

Jesse holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with a Concentration in Environmental & Energy Law and a Certificate of Advanced Study in International & Comparative Law. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Religious Studies at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington, in 2013.

Jesse was born and raised in rural Southeast Ohio to a logging and farming family. He joined the U.S. Army after high school in 2004, serving six years as an aviation maintenance technician and maintenance supervisor. He served two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008.
