An anonymous source within the Island County court system said to me "if I was in trouble, there is only one attorney on the island I would hire; Andrew Scott. I give the same advice. If you have a problem that requires legal assistance or representation...take it very seriously and hire Mr. Scott. I was charged with a 4th degree felony and I met with Mr. Scott an hour after I called him to schedule an appointment. His demeanor was calm and steady and quiet. He listened without judgement. Then he explained how he was going to proceed with the case, all possible outcomes and he appeared in court on my behalf the following day. After 3 months of discovery, court dates, and delays, my case was dismissed - the best of all possible outcomes (and the most just.) And I only had to appear in court once. Mr. Scott did all the work. I think this guy is an angel.
After practicing law in Missoula, Montana from 1994-2016, I am proud to be able to serve the communities of Whidbey Island and Island County as a whole. Our firm is dedicated to serving our clients effectively and at a reasonable rate.
Away from the office, I enjoy photography, canoeing, hiking and spending time with my family.

Highly recommend
I appreciate a lawyer that is willing to actually listen to what was going on and not just tell me to plead guilty.

Truly a Diamond in the Procedural Rough!
Andrew did a Fantastic job handling the proceedings before the ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE of my Social Security case. He asked all the right questions to counter the innate and apparent biased prosecutorial tone in said trial, much to the disdain of the ruling authoritarian. He is very respectful, knowledgeable and will fight well for the infirmed, handicapped underdog. I highly recommend Mr. Scott's assistance and experience in navigating murky matters of law. Thank you Andrew. A+

Quick help and success in Langley
We were being bullied and harassed by a neighbor and confronted with a court appearance. Mr. Scott got a consultation scheduled quickly - during the holidays. He provided direction on what to do in preparation and helped us prepare properly before representing us in court. He was professional, timely, knowledgeable, and candid about possible outcomes. We hired him with realistic expectations and were pleased with our positive result. We will call upon him again should a need arise.
