Prompt & Efficient

My husband and I used Ms. Coppinger Carter for our case regarding a motor vehicle accident that we had in the US 4 years ago. We are Canadian citizens and needed to find a US attorney as our previous attorney abandoned our case. We were referred to Ms. Coppinger Carter and have been very impressed... with her work. Our case was going off the rails as our previous attorney had made some mistakes and Ms. Coppinger Carter was able to not only put the train back on the rails, she was also able to settle our case without going to court. We believe this would not have happened without her expertise, knowledge and professionalism. We would highly recommend her to anyone seeking legal assistance. Ron & Judy

"Carrie is a powerful advocate in the courtroom. We recently worked together on a complex adoption litigation matter and Carrie's advocacy for the client, the adoptive parent, was top notch. Her written briefing was clear and concise. Her courtroom presence was strong and powerful. And her interaction with the client demonstrated great empathy and understanding for the emotional issues at play. Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
