Robert J. Och

I first spent over $5K on the "Best in Bellingham" who inhaled all of it and did NOTHING! A mover told me in passing that there was a guy in Bellingham that never loses. I called Robert as they carried my stuff out of the house. He took my case, put a stop to all of her lies, made her face reason,... a miracle to say the least. He cost less for the year of great service than the "Best" did for 5 weeks! Do yourself a favor and call Robert first!

Not only does Mr Och have cool hair, he and Candace get the jobs done. I hired him for a divorce and custody case, and I never had to second guess them or felt the need to worry with them handling all the details and making my case. He's worth saving for and hiring first. He never tried to ta...lk me out of fighting for what I wanted and he understood my resolve to win. Hire him and know that his loyalties never waiver away from his clients. His hair is pretty cool too.

Bob was the third lawyer I had paid well over several thousand dollars to and thank God I did! From his reaction to hearing my story the first time we met (outraged at the other party for keeping my daughter from me for over four months) all the way through our long phone conversation weeks after cou...rt had been settled... Bob was a honey badger working in my corner. I had a lot that could have created some bumps in the road in regards to my case, and Bob was upfront and honest with me at all times. If I made a suggestion which he didn't agree with or he didn't feel we would have a good chance of winning the argument. . . He told me not to waste my money. Some people may take offence to being told No by someone they are paying. . . but Bob knows his stuff and I'd put away or take out my wallet without hesitation whenever he asked it of me. I am still currently working with Bob as my daughters mom is never short of 'horrible ways to undermine' . . . and I would, in the highest regard, recommend you hire Bob Och to represent you in court. Don't waste thousands on the wrong lawyer when the right lawyer is right here.

I find it odd to see poor reviews of Mr. Och's practice. Family law is a tough, emotional roller coaster for everyone involved. I have hired a lot of lawyers once; however, I hired Mr. Och twice. Both times, I got what I put into the case; and, what I asked for. A good attorney is busy and does n...ot have the time to pick your brain, find out your life history, figure out what you should do, and then convince you of this. I found a little common sense and general courtesy works wonders with Robert and Candice. Robert has plenty of time to deal with your case WHEN HE CALLS YOU; therefore, do your homework and be prepared for his call. It is foolish to think your going to call an Attorney with over 20 years experience in one area of law and get him on the phone with undivided attention. For all the little things that don't get expressed on the phone, send an email. For paperwork, use the drop box in the evening. Robert Och is a pro that has been doing family law in Whatcom County for 24 years. He knows what he is doing and likes to win. He was professional, confident, experienced, prepared, kept me informed, and he was always honest with me. I strongly suggest retaining Robert Och for family law matters if you are serious and realistic about your case. If you are not going to do the work to win or have unrealistic expectations, save yourself some money and hire someone with less experience.

He is easy enough to get along with and likes to talk to help you feel comfortable. Unfortunately, when the pressure comes and things don't go his way in court, he doesn't fight. As stated by someone else before, if you want your ex to come out on top, hire him. I spent a lot of money to have him ...do something I could have easily done on my own. If you really want to win, I would look elsewhere. Also, if you expect your attorney to stay in contact, he won't. I always had to call.
