I consulted Genissa on a matter during the COVID pandemic. During this time she was prompt in her email communication responses, clear and detailed in all of her wording and always honest and realistic about outcomes. This may not be something that would immediately come to mind when you think of a lawyer. But during a pandemic and for my particular situation, it was refreshing and welcomed and made our communications much lighter!

I had a case where a phone company clearly made a mistake in billing me for $420 after I had stopped service. I had tried every way I knew to show the company my paperwork which proved they were wrong, but they sent the bill to collections. Genissa helped me file the complaint, with threat to take it... to the state commission if not satisfied, that resulted in the company acknowledging they had made a mistake and I owed them nothing.
