I Can't Recommend this Lawyer

I met with this lawyer in January (2023) for a consultation on a matter relating to my appointment as power of attorney. At that time, he read the paperwork and told me that I should be paying myself a salary for the work I had been doing for two years on behalf of my friend. This was incorrect infor...mation and had I not consulted a different lawyer recently I would not have known how to proceed properly (and legally) moving forward. He also recommended only one facility in Bellingham for my friend to move into for Alzheimer's disease. He said that this facility is the only one in town that accepts Medicaid. This also was not true. I am so thankful that I did not take his advice and instead conducted my own research on homes all over the city (and beyond).

I am sorry that you believe the information provided during our consultation was incorrect and perhaps it was a matter of miscommunication or misunderstanding. I would be happy to speak with you again at no charge to discuss the recommendations I made and the information I provided.

Highly recommended

Our family chose David to complete a Guardianship for my Mother, and he completed a will and estate planning for my Father. I was especially touched by how he worked with my Father who experiences cognitive impairment. David made sure he always had my fathers full attention, helping my Dad to spea...k clearly with many check ins to ensure he understood. David is skilled in building rapport and easing the comfort level. I had complete confidence in David being able to work with and understand my Dad. Our Guardianship process was complicated and did not turn out as we all expected. The Guardian that was recommended has worked with our family for an extended period. She is amazing. David knows his practice and all the support systems that go with it. He knew how would be the best guardian over my Mom. I give David the highest recommendation.

Highly Recomended !!

Very knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and forthcoming. David helped me with years of protection issues I had with my mother's safety. I trust him with any and all my legal needs. Mom is resting peacefully now and we are healing. I can not thank you enough David .... I totally recommend ...you !!!!

Knowledgeable, Thoughful Attorney (who is also a nice guy and quite humble)

As David Neubeck's client, we sought his assistance with a variety of matters that were completely foreign to us; Wills, Trusts, SSI application, Guardianship, and a Special Needs Trust. He helped us begin navigating though the legal maze and as we hit bumps in the road, he researched the issues and ...smoothed the path that lay before us. We have been working with him now for a year and a half, the outcome even better than we had hoped for. Working with David Neubeck was a 100% positive experience. He has a very nice demeanor and is a pleasure to work with as is his staff.

Professional elder law and estate planning attorney

David worked with my mother to update her will and other documents after my father passed. We found him to be knowledgeable, efficient, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator.. The results were exactly what my mother wanted and we have confidence that her legal paperwork is now in o...rder. I would recommend him to anyone needing to do this kind of planning. That would be anyone who has not already taken care of it.
