Tom’s experience and background includes over 30 years in civil practice. Tom has substantial experience representing commercial landlords, forming business entities, all aspects of estate planning and estate settlement, real estate transactions, resolving real estate title issues and representing clients in complex contractual relationships. Tom’s litigation experience includes over 300 trials to a final verdict or decision.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Florida (BA) and Gonzaga University school of Law (JD). While in law school Tom served both in the clinical law program and later as a screening intern at Division III of the Court of Appeals under the late Commissioner Michael Keyes. After graduation from law school and being admitted to practice law in the State of Washington, Tom served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Okanogan County before transitioning to private practice.
Tom’s practice philosophy is a client focused, problem solving approach. Tom enjoys finding the most direct path to resolving complex legal problems. Tom understands clients need practical, achievable solutions, not unrealistic, costly and conflict driven tactical exercises.
