Due to the fact no children were involved and my ex's annual salary being slightly more than mine, she stated the case would take no more than 6 months. 2.5 years and $9000 plus later, I was no further along in my case than when I first walked into her office. I'm know paying $900 amonth in alimon...y. I fired her and was able to obtain divorce myself 2 months later. Also was forced to sell home that had no equity in it although she stated that I would be able to keep the home.
