An officer and gentlemen

In a complex foreclosure matter, involving several family members and several properties, Alan successfully secured a sizable settlement of my inheritance. He achieved this through his broad legal expertise and his steadfast approach with both his clients and opposing attorneys. Alan draws both on his training as a professional engineer and naval officer in his ability to assess a problem, examine various solutions, and explain/recommend a course of action. He is focused, deliberate, calm, and attentive to detail. Alan, cognizant of the emotional stress for his clients, listened actively, responded respectfully, and was readily accessible, punctual and efficient. His oral and written clarity are exceptional.

I feel ripped off by this guy

In my opinion this guy took my deposit and gave me a report that didn't address my needs, it looked like something that a freshman slapped together the night before it was due. Spent more time blaming my records and telling me how he was busy with another case than giving me answers. Very little expertise in my land rights issue in my opinion. Didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.
