Major lack of knowledge and more importantly, their billing malpractice running up bills where 80-90% of their bill lists "emails and phone calls" rather than actual work is clear representation of their focus within their practice - money grab wit...h very little accomplished. I called for a consult on a garnishment case. I was told that it was legal for them to charge me $54.16 per day for the rest of my life in interest on the garnishment ($19,768.40) per year. I found out that was incorrect, that they are only charging a one time fee of $54.16, not a per day fee. I w...as told the maximum garnishment allowed in WA state is 25%, but learned that in June of 2019, that law changed and the maximum is now 20% - I was very disappointed to know this lawyer does not know the current law around this. I was told that it was "...highly unlikely..." that the creditor would accept even an offer in full before the garnishment took place, and that was not at all the case, the creditor was more than willing to work with me pre-garnishment to settle for less than what is owed. And lastly, she seemed annoyed that I was even asking her questions and wasting her time with my consult. My source of truth actually came when I called the company that initiated the lawsuit. They advised me of the current laws and explained the situation. I would not pay this attorney a dime for services.
