This attorney dropped the ball over and over again. No communication whatsoever, just passed the buck onto the victim advocate who also dropped the ball. I called several times and never got a response, not that it had been dropped, and not that it wasn’t going to court. My daughter was killed as ...a passenger while driving to her brother’s home for Thanksgiving 2021. The woman who killed my daughter and put two others in critical care, in Tobin’s opinion was not guilty of anything. Not for having over 200 needles in her car, not for driving over the speed limit by 20+ miles per hour in bad weather. There was nothing he could prosecute her for, which is incomprehensible to me, Especially when the Detective assured me that she would go to court for two counts of vehicular assault, and one count of vehicular Homicide. This woman came up behind my daughter and slammed her car into oncoming traffic, killing her instantly. Her boyfriend was unconscious, suffered a broken pelvis, broken ribs, and a punctured lung. The other driver suffered a broken sternum, and a shattered leg. He was in the hospital for months. The Woman, responsible for all this walked away with a swollen ankle.. They did a field sobriety test, that she fell over on, but that was supposedly because of the wind and weather conditions. So they let her go and sit in the patrol car to keep warm. While she was waiting she spoke to her attorney and directed not to provide a blood test or agree to a breathalyzer test. This woman, who is allowed to walk away with no repercussions has an extensive criminal history ranging from check fraud to DUIs. Heartbroken, Angry, and so very disappointed in our legal system.
