Not ever having the training needed to be a successful landlord, I took it upon myself to handle the paperwork on my own. I mean how hard could it be, just fill out the papers and everything would work out fine. Not true! I rented to a co-worker and his family, who took advantage of my ignorance a...nd proceeded to destroy my property, not to mention not paying rent. With the rental papers not completed, not to mention incorrectly filled out, I entered Rob’s office with head held low and feeling defeated. Rob and his assistant went through the mess and went straight to work. When all was said and done, he successfully evicted my renters. It was a miracle to me, but, to Rob, it was just another day at the office. Most importantly, he answered my questions, reassured me that he was ready for whatever came our way and put up with my constant office visits. I was talking with a co-worker, and we were discussing renter nightmares. We started comparing notes about our attorneys and how happy we were to have found them. It was not until we started talking about how reasonably priced our attorneys are, that we discovered that we were talking about the same attorney, Rob Trickler. The renters have gone from my house, but they are still causing issues. I feel blessed that I have found an attorney that will not drop you as soon as the eviction is completed, but will be in the fight for the long haul. Thank you, Rob. I contacted Rob late April about my downstairs tennants doing illegal drugs and harassing my upstairs tennants. Under the states current moratorium he said the case would be challenging but he would be willing to take it on! He then advised me to have my upstairs tennants write an affidavit expla...ining the situation. I then contacted him the following week with the completed affidavit! He explained to me that his secretary had contracted covid 19 and that it might take over a week to get the paperwork completed. I agreed to it and waited till the following tuesday with no response. I then decided to reach out to Rob again calling him that day and two days later with no responses what so ever. I then realized after spending two weeks of my time waiting that Rob Trickler was not going to help! I then hired John P Livingston up in whatcom county and had my case wrapped up in a little less then a month with the drug addicts out of my home! I understand that things happen like your secretary getting covid! But the problem here is he just dodged my phone calls and wasted my time for 2 weeks instead of properly communicating like a man and being a professional about it!
